This visa is designed for Canadians having already invested or intending to make substantial investments in a company. The investment must indeed be substantial and attest at least 50 % of ownership.

The applicant must be experienced in, and going to undertake a managerial and executive key role to the success of the company.

The investors must be in the United States to direct and manage their business. Should the applicant not be the investor, he has to be employed in an executive/managerial position or one which requires indispensable knowledge.

This visa can be renewed indefinitely without restrictions, as long as the company continues to meet the requirements, for a maximum period of five (5) years. The undertaking must be sufficiently viable to support the company, the applicant and his family.
